This is a short experimental clip of Timo (Timo II V Bockenhagen at Kimmax), an imported Deutsch Drahthaar, demonstrating the point and flush.
Timo was 2 years on the day and shows the typical steadiness required. He is 'drunk' on the scent of a cock pheasant that he had tracked for 50 yards and closed in on to about 15 yards upwind from him. He awaits 'the voice' - me, to flush the bird.
Apologies on missing more of the bird, this was an opportunistic bit of freecording taken by me whilst out training with Timo and Joker on my own. Hope to do better next time but the sun was on the camera LCD display and it all happened too fast.
The camera used is a Sony Xacti HD1000, a superb little full HD camera.
No animals were harmed in the making of this film :-)
