The Great Barrier Reef is at risk from rapid industralisation. The Australian Government is allowing tens of millions of tonnes of seabed to be dredged in World Heritage waters, to make way for 4 mega ports, serviced by up to 7,000 industrial ships crossing the Reef every year.
#ReefReels is a short film competition launched by GetUp! to motivate and encourage filmmakers and environmentalists alike to create short films with a focus on the issues currently surrounding the Great Barrier Reef.
