The time lapse experiment continues...
After yesterday's attempt at a decent time lapse sequence, tonight I spent another couple hours on the balcony looking west towards downtown Toronto. This time in order to reduce flickering I set the ISO/Shutter/Aperture at a fixed rate (see technical details below for figures). In essence, I locked down the aperture and shot completely in manual mode and it removed the flicker completely.
Please note that the compressed downloadable H.264 video shows a lot of banding which is not present in the original high quality MOV file created by FCP.
