This ancient statue was modelled and sculpted using Blender 3D,
This video was recorded in realtime using OpenGL and GLSL shaders.
The original statue has 0.5 million triangles and its reduction has only ~2100 triangles. This example uses 4 textures: Normal mapping, Ambient occlusion, Reflection mapping and dirt texture.
Most of these textures have been generated using Render to Texture (Bake) in Blender 3D.
