Okay people, here it is!
My production project, incorporates a series of commentaries on possible broadcasts of the future of motion graphics. This has all been compiled in After effects and a little tiny bit of flash.
The first piece that the camera nests on is to demonstrate how paper thin LCD displays may one day litter the walls and pillars of society the same way posters and adds do now. The camera then moves on to show a bit of Mediatecture - displaying a movie preview on a seemingly large scale on the side of a building... of course this is something that we see almost already with projected footage in some buildings around the world. Next is a commentary on how one day we may even see animated labels on drinks and chocolate bars. The possibilities are endless in terms of motion graphics for advertisement. After the product piece is an example of how magazines or news papers may one day incorporate a similar technology, of course I doubt that we would see a whole magazine consisting of LCD's but, who knows! Maybe!! Last but not least is a demonstration of pretty much where I am at with after effects. My AIS advertisement is a short piece consisting of some camera work, masking, lighting, effects and blending modes.
The 5 short pieces you see are all set up in a 3D environment further exemplifying where I am at with the camera, lighting, file integration and animation in After Effects.
All in all, I am pretty happy with how much of the program I have learned in this semester and I really am hooked on the stuff! I cant wait to learn as much as I can and keep exploring the possibilities of after effects!!
