Swimming Across I + II
2009, Two performance acts
Swimming Across is a performance series of two. First one takes place in an apart hotel room that was used later on as the exhibition space and the second one takes place in an office space. I swim across these spaces without any water causing friction with the space and facing it with my body.
Childlike imagination and stubbornness are tools to challenge the construct of reality and disturb the patterns of action implied by the space. Performing enables me to de-personalize this experience.
