A "motionpainting" meant for large screen projection and continuous looping. As all of my work, this piece is best seen projected large (suggested viewing size approximately 9 ft X 9 ft). Although limitations of existing technology force the use of a projected image seen in a darkened room or viewed on an LCD monitor, ideally this work should be seen in a lighted room on a television monitor at the suggested size. Existing technical limitations unfortunately force the work into a category it should not inhabit - namely, as a film or videoart. It is neither. Rather it should be viewed as a "painting" that lives in stasis (in spite of the fact that it exists in duration); i.e. a work that explores the "silence" between "spaces". This work was completed in 2014.
