HelioFocus Dish Demonstration Plant - Wuhai, Inner Mongolia, China

Developed for HelioFocus, the Dish Solar Concentrator was designed for high efficiency electricity conversion by feeding thermal energy into existing power plants. Unconventional solutions allowed for minimal number of dishes and simplified structures with large surface, thus minimizing costs and improving efficiency. Thomas Keck explains.
