OSM Editing Tip in < 5 Minutes series
It is good OSM practice to clean your GPS tracks before uploading to OSM. We do not need any point clouds around your home. :)
In JOSM, two plugins are useful to do this.
- editgpx
- directupload
1. Open JOSM and add the plugins above. [EDIT] > [PREFERENCES] > [PLUGINS].
2. Re-start JOSM.
3. Open a gpx track and remove unwanted points using the editgpx plugin.
4. Save the edited track in another file.
5. Upload the edited track using the directupload plugin.
6. Add useful description and tags.
