Anne Carpenter talks about how high-throughput microscopy is being used to uncover an exciting wealth of detailed knowledge about biological systems. The key challenge with this technique is dealing with massive volumes of image data. She highlights common visualization approaches currently being used to interpret these data, and she highlights the CellProfiler tool developed in her laboratory. This talk was part of VIZBI 2010, the EMBO workshop on visualizing biological data (vizbi.org). This video has been filmed and distributed with permission under a creative common license.
