This is the short story of a girl who stumbles her way into an adventure. It is based on several fairy tales and myths, however it was mostly inspired by "The Neapolitan Soldier" by Italo Calvino. I was inspired by the way several classic fairy tales cross over, and have similar themes and plot elements, such as a lost or stolen slipper.
It was shot with my Canon T3i, on a lovely PVC Pipe animation stand. It was made as a final project for the Intro Animation course I am in. All of the characters, backgrounds, shooting, editing and so on were done by myself. The audio used comes from the Final Cut library, with additional sounds by various contributors on Freesound.org.
