Former U.S. Diplomat, and U.S. Army/Army Reserves veteran, Ann Wright, a retired Colonel, described how Palestinians are being slaughtered again in the “border zone” at Gaza/Egypt. She traveled to Gaza three times in 2009. Col. Wright, who is also a CODEPINK activist, denounced the ongoing “collective punishment,” which is the fate of the Palestinians under the Israeli onslaught. In her remarks, she also referred to “The Goldstone Report,” and to the case of Rachel Corrie. See: goldstone-report.org/ and rachelcorrie.org/ For more on Col. Col. Wright’s comments were made on Thursday, April 29, 2010, at a “Teach-In on Capitol Hill,” held in Room 2168 of the Rayburn House Building, in Washington, D.C. The forum dealt with the question of what the U.S. Congress must do to end the U.S. Wars and secure a peaceful Middle East. Rep. Dennis J. Kucinich (D-OH) served as the host/moderator for the forum.
