Der Arbeitstag (Working Day) is Part of my transcription of Karl Marx' historic Text "Das Kapital" into Hollerith Punching Cards. Through the simple application to a music box the text is transferred into sound. A dadaistic composition brought together by Karl Marx, Hollerith and a Music Box.
The whole Text of Karl Marx' first Book is part of the Collection at the Museion in Bolzano, where a modified version run by a motor - determining the speed of the capital flow - will be shown in early March 2015.
