During the 'Sea World International Light Festival' in Shenzhen (China) you can experience the most sparkling street: the Alley of Light. Dutch-based design offices Serge Schoemaker Architects & Digiluce created this twelve-metre-long passage that is surrounded by a four-metre-high three-dimensional matrix of 2000 handmade lights.
In the winter of 2015 - 2016 Alley of Light featured at the Norrkoping Light Festival. For its premiere at Amsterdam Light Festival 2014 - 2015 the Alley of Light was located in the historic centre of Amsterdam on Jonas Daniël Meijerplein, between the Jewish Historical Museum and the Portuguese-Israeli Synagogue. Amsterdam Light Festival 2014 - 2015 attracted 630.000 people.
