Evocative, passionate and poetic. Passengers is a compelling and moving exploration of the relationship between a daughter and her father as she matures from childhood to adulthood. First, we are transported back to a time when, as an eight year old she accompanied her father on road trips. Then, we enter a surreal fantasy where as an adult she is riding in the car with her dying father. As they reminisce about her past and the men with whom she was involved. She summons the courage to tell him that she has chosen a divergent path. This revelation enables her to say goodbye to her father and move on.
