Liberia is one of five TEEB pilot country studies, aimed at working with local partners and stakeholders to recognize, demonstrate and capture the values of ecosystem services and biodiversity in policy-making.
TEEB Liberia aims to reduce the pressures and threats on coastal mangroves by mainstreaming the value of biodiversity and ecosystem services into coastal and marine planning policies, with a particular focus on mangrove ecosystems.
