An experimental film about identity, perceived femininity, and contemporary urban existentialism in Los Angeles.
Late spring, 2007, and I was a budding film student at SMC. The deadline for the student film festival was only a week away. I had nothing. No ideas, bupkis. Good thing my pal Souraya told me about this weird dream she had, where she got up one morning and found period blood stains on her bed sheets situated around "you know where." She took the sheets to the laundromat and caught eyes with some drunk bum. Guess this made her horny and off she went home to masturbate to his memory. This drunken bum's memory. Anyway, it got into the student festival. Friends and faculty alike enjoyed it. Some admired it. Many preferred the one I'd submitted a year before. A gonzo satanic flick I'd made that I lost in a fire. And by fire I of course mean: I lost the hard drive I saved it on. No idea where it went. RIP that decade old relic. Cursed alcohol was most likely the culrpit. But hey here's another one by Maic the Young Film Student, just doodling pixels... still cutting his teeth!
Photographed and Directed by Maicol Andrés Ordoñez.
