IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE

Each year, the IP Studio, run in Wrocław by the artistic collective IP Group, transforms into the Ambient Room—an immersive environment situated at the intersection of art, technology, and embodied experience. Drawing on both digital and analog media, we design a space in which sound, light, and objects influence perception, reshape our cognitive habits, and open new pathways of seeing.

betwin is an environment suspended in-between—in a state of liminality and indeterminacy. With every moment it slips away, morphing in an unobvious direction. We want to remain within this ambivalence and uncertainty, to move away from what affirms and fixes, and to explore what has not yet taken form—what does not belong, is not defined, what transforms and has not yet solidified. We want to stay in this flickering moment, before something becomes something—before it takes on a name, a function, a form.

This place does not demand immediate understanding or decision-making—on the contrary, it allows immersion in a process of becoming, without the pressure of a final shape. betwin opens up as a field for experiencing unclear impulses, held within a potential of possibilities. We invite you into an environment of ambient liminality—without a map, without instructions, on the threshold.

betwin is the ninth edition of the recurring Ambient Room project, realized at IP Studio in Wrocław—an open studio and creative space run by the IP Group collective. In its practice, IP Group examines selected aspects of media, designing multidimensional immersive environments. The next iteration of the project is planned for 2026.
