My name is Azmi Qubty-Kandalaft, and I interviewed my parents Salwa and Samir. The interview took place at 9:30 pm on thursday the 18th of December. It was located inside of Salwa and Samir's home, specifically in the kitchen. some of the key events discussed were the 1967 war, the 1st and 2nd intifada, the green line, and the “paper.” the one person brought up by name was Sami Qubty, Salwa’s brother who helped her immigrate. the conversation consisted of family background, living in Nazareth, transitioning to the United States, their experiences with the various wars, 9/11, and religion
