A military nurse from Sierra Leone, Abdul Rahman Sanu's most important roles in life are that of husband and father. So when Abdul started experiencing signs and symptoms of Ebola, he immediately isolated himself from his family, explained to them that they should not touch him in case he had the virus, and reported to an Ebola treatment center. At the center, Abdul tested positive for Ebola, was treated, and recovered. By taking the recommended steps to protect his family, he also ensured that no one was infected by him.
