Starry Night - Time Lapse of a small segment of the night sky in the Milky Way, rising above Mt Dragonfly in the Southern Sky at the time of the summer solstice. Photographed from the Albert Burn Saddle at 6000 feet above sea level near the Whare Kea Chalet. A small section of the summit ridge of Mt Dragonfly can be seen in the bottom right of the frame. The actual interval between frames is 9 seconds and the video is displayed at 29.7 frames per second. Several satellites can be seen moving across the sky.
