Tuesday, Nov. 24 2009
noon-1 p.m.
Add some green to your lunch! Learn more about Richmond’s own green house in this lunchtime lecture by architect R. Michael Cross. The Augusta Project is a speculative home renovation & addition in the City of Richmond, which under the direction of the R. Michael Cross Design Group is pursuing the highest levels of certification under the USGBC’s LEED for Homes program. This project serves as a tangible example of the accessibility of green building in our region. Learn about simple building techniques that can make your next project greener. Following the lecture, enjoy a viewing of The Green House exhibition, which was generously underwritten by an anonymous foundation.
