This is a film about some of the most beautiful caves of France and the conservation issues related to this heritage. It received a Merit Award and the Best of Show Award at the NSS (National Speleological Society - USA) Video Salon of 1998 amongst other international awards.
This film was produced using experimental HDTV equipment in 1993. This equipment was designed for the Olympics of 1992. At the time there were no camcorders. HDTV was recorded on huge video tape reels recorders housed inside a 24 tons truck and linked to the camera by 2 Km of fiber optic cable.
