Pong Wars: Resurrection was the first "Lost Pong Wars" movie that was mostly shot, but never completed due to corrupt / distorted dv tapes. The project was scrapped and reworked as PONG WARS: Ground Zero (2003). In this opening sequence, we see a parody of Freddy making his glove from the beginning of NIGHTMARE ON ELMSTREET (1984), while Lewis Banakin builds a custom-made paddle for the upcoming tournament. It's also worth noting this was the first time FINAL CUT PRO was used in editing, allowing for new opportunities with titles, overlays, and compositing. PONG WARS: Resurrection was intended to be a sequel to PONG WARS 3: The Prophecy. Enjoy!
