May 2010 - Oscar Lhermitte
Filmed by Cormac McGloin
This project tries to recreate the stars in the night sky. Living in big cities such as London has many advantages, but some concessions have to be made. Not being able to see the sky full of stars is one of them. As you know, the city lights, the British weather and the pollution hide the contemplation of this poetic open space.
This installation was left for the night in the East side of London. Pedestrians passing by were able to contemplate the night sky, full of stars.
