In August 2001, Cynthia and her husband Lance Tumulty celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary. Their daughter Sarah was 3 years old and baby daughter Caroline was four months old. Less than a month later, on 9/11, Lance was at his desk on the 84th floor of the South Tower.
