An elephant at exhibition centre in Moscow. The elephant is very friendly. Her (it is female) skin is very harsh, as a sandpaper. Trunk is wet with saliva at the end. Great creature. (Music on video was from nearby cafe and was very loud so I didn't hear voices of people standing near elephant)
I was testing new Kodak v1273 on the street at 1280x720 resolution, high quality. Not as comfortable as Casio S600 (my previous cam) for shooting still images, this great camera is capable to shoot stunning HD quality videos. Still comfortable, because small enough for every pocket. Quality of still pictures in some cases is poor, some of them are blurred and some have bad colors. But I'm satisfied anyway and like this camera much more because of great video capabilities, even under low light conditions (I will try to upload very low light video as well).
One issue - battery life provides only 10-15 minutes of video if I shoot photos as well (and up to 15-20 when I shoot only video). I bought 8 G SDHC card, it can hold up to 40 minutes of video, but I can shoot only 10 minutes. So I have to buy more batteries for it and to bring all of them with me. (In Casio S600, battery is great - I can easily shoot 40 minutes and more of video). v1273 has only one mic and records audio in mono (good quality though).
One peculiarity - you have to try to hold camera still, because HD video has best quality when camera does not move or moves slowly. If you move it sharply, quality instantly degrades and remains blurred while camera is moving, then restores when camera stops again. This is common for all video, but is much much more noticeable with HD.
