The consumption of unwarranted information and its perplexing satisfaction that our world has involuntarily provided us with, has become something larger then us all, tedious to it’s bones, brain anesthetizing, yet still the most pleasurable form of communication, amongst other things. This mediated world we live in has given birth to something more than capable of one’s absolute destruction or one’s upmost success. This newfound form of media, the star descent of our media engrossed world, being social media. This piece, comprised of a slew of patterns and lines tinged red, represents the static of our world as of late, the static of social media and media itself. It represents the disorientation, the obsession, and the overwhelming grip of social media’s fictional hand.
