"THE POLAR BEAR CLUB" is the story of an elderly man, Harold, who leads a group of friends once a week out across the frozen lake behind his home in order to do one thing - jump in. The freezing water and painful cold brings each man a renewed feeling of youth and adventure, a feeling they wouldn't give up for anything. When one of the members dies during an outing, the group's faith in what they are doing is shattered. What began as a harmless outing, a glimmer into how they felt as young adults, quickly becomes the defining moment for them as old men. Nearing the end of their lives, the members start searching for meaning as life stops giving and begins to start taking away.
