This video by Iasos - created in 1980 and released in 1982- was one of the very first “new age videos”, spearheading that genre. The visual quality is not up to current standards, since this was produced BEFORE video effects software, and used A/B rolling of two ¾” U-Matic video recorders.
This project began as an attempt to capture in video my multi-media shows that I then used in concerts. Also as an attempt to create visuals to sync with my music.
The many wonderful artists that contributed to this project are all credited on the DVD, but I would like to especially thank and acknowledge the artist Gilbert Williams and the video-artist Ken Jenkins. In many ways, this video functions as a “showcase” for many of the top visionary artists of that era.
