ENTSUMPFUNG is a one years excavation project in which I released the walls of the "Perinetkeller", the former studio of the Viennese Actionists (VAs), from all the layers that had been applied since the VAs had left it. The video documents parts of this process. The title is a reference on Otto Mühl's "Materialaktion Nr.1, Versumpfung eines weiblichen Körpers-Verumpfung einer Venus", September 1963
