I got myself some new recording software for my fresh and shiny Mac OS X Leopard: ScreenFlow. They say it has an amazing performance and that is something my recent videos - over at YouTube - need. What better way to try it out than with Compile's insane shooter Aleste 2...
Aleste 2 is hard. And it quickly gets harder as you progress. But if you like it real hard, try staying off the fancy weaponry and go with weapon #0. It's the default gun, just a little faster and more powerful, but it still doesn't wipe out bullets.
Catching those yellow power-up icons becomes more important with this weapon, since they boost the power and spread of your main gun. Picking up the #0 weapon icons will increase the rate of fire.
If all goes well and my new setup won't give any hick-ups, then perhaps this Vimeo adventure might turn out something wonderful. Running series I will finish in lower quality, over at YouTube. New walkthrough series will probably be HD videos published on Vimeo (and YouTube) like this one.
