I put this together not as any sort of technical (or artistic) demonstration, but just to show how with minimal effort and a decent lens you can shoot for all kinds of conditions, certainly doing at least as well as normal camcorders and almost always exceeding them.
It was shot at 1080p/24 and then downrezzed to 720p. I'm not sure what Vimeo is going to do with it. As such, it shouldn't be taken as any sort of measure of the T2i's image quality (though you can see plenty of chroma noise surviving re-encoding in the low-light scenes).
To clarify for some that have been asking at the review: it was shot with full-auto exposure control, including aperture, shutter, and ISO. You can of course control these manually but for "camcorder" purposes the auto mode worked extremely well - which it was my intention to demonstrate.
