Fordham University honored its graduating student veterans and military-connected students at the annual Yellow Ribbon Medallion Ceremony on May 16, 2025, in Keating Hall on the Rose Hill campus.
During the ceremony, Fordham President Tania Tetlow presented Yellow Ribbon Medallions to graduating students who have served in the military or are part of military families. After receiving their medals, graduates gathered outside to ring the Victory Bell—a Fordham tradition recognizing their service, resilience, and academic achievement.
The ceremony reflects Fordham’s ongoing commitment to those who serve. As a Yellow Ribbon School and the No. 1 “Best for Vets” college in New York City according to Military Times, Fordham proudly supports a vibrant community of military-connected students, including veterans, active-duty servicemembers, National Guard and Reserve members, ROTC cadets, and military dependents.
The Yellow Ribbon Medallion Ceremony is one of many ways Fordham celebrates and supports the students who bring the values of service, leadership, and dedication to campus.
