Startingpoint for this perennial project was Iris Julian’s performance inside a sculpture by Atelier Van Lieshout (Museum of Modern Art, MUMOK, Vienna): a huge digestion channel which was interpreted as body of neoliberal fun society. A researchproject(1) formed the basis: it turned out that de/valuations can be read as economic strategy: people are stigmatized and at the same time incorporated and exploited as low wage payees. At TANZQUARTIER WIEN the piece consisted of two parts: a video-installation and a live-lecture: here some of the videos of the installation were put togeter to form a trailer.
