“If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome.”
I packed up my laptop and camera this afternoon, working the rest of the day in the newly opened Transcend Coffee with Miss Sarah. We were later joined by my sister Alessandra and we walked to nearby DaCapo to feast on some tasty pizza. Our springtime adventures were not over though. We wandered across the bridge and sat in the park enjoying the relative quietness of the early Friday evening. I was enjoying the experience so much that I missed out on after work drinks with friends across town. Too late to join them I retired to my apartment office, lay down on the daybed and watched the clouds through the window.
To think only last week the same sky was pale and grey and the landscape white.
