An installation in the centre of the city changes the urban scene.
quantomais is a corn field that shot up overnight at the end of July 2014, in the heart of Milan, opposite the Sforza Castle, between the two Expo Gate pavilions. It is a project devised and produced by A4A Rivolta Savioni Architetti on an invitation from Expo Gate's artistic curator Caroline Corbetta. This agricultural passage transformed places and habits into a new experience to be shared: a lively meeting place in which readings, laboratories, artistic interludes, meetings and minor rituals accompanied residents and passers-by.
After quantomais was dismantled, the sections making up the field were redistributed to schools, associations, communities and social coops through an adoption tender.
