Happy Street was the name of the Dutch pavilion at the World expo 2010 in Shanghai. To guide its visitors an app was developed, for which we created a promotional film.
The stand, designed by architect John Körmeling, featured a 450 meters long street built in the form of an eight, a special number in China, which led visitors along the architectural highlights of the country. It also featured an enormous crow and stood out in particular because of its striking, playful, and very open design. All elements we incorporated in our film.
The Dutch pavilion won ‘the Golden Eye 2010 award’ for ‘best design of the year’, granted by the Dutch Design Awards.
