The window displays at Hermès Madison explore themes related to the evolution of conciseness. Imagined scenes reference the beginning of time and existence, the discovery of fire and beyond. Christopher Boots creates these custom light fixtures through a classical lens and material usage of gold leaf, cast bronze, rolled brass and natural uncut quartz crystals. Metaphysically, the medium of quartz crystal as a vehicle of transformation is a hallmark of Boots', who believes the energy of the earth is a powerful catalyst for the contemporary human condition.
