Over the summer of 2014, four people were hired by the Arizona Conservation Corps, The US Forest Service, and the Oak Creek Watershed Council to be Oak Creek Ambassadors: Cordel Adler, Dalton Zanetti, Kat Solorio, and Max Tapia. This program was funded by the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality. These individuals spent the summer cleaning high recreation spots along the beautiful Oak Creek in Northern Arizona and educating the public about the problems associated with high recreation on the creek. The Slide Rock Fire gave the ambassadors time to think of ways to educate the pubic and it inspired Cordel and Dalton to create a film documenting their experiences. This is their resulting film and their hope is that one day we will not have a trash problem on our waterways.
