La complejidad de lo esencial, for dancer with objects, prepared piano, and live electronics (2014).
This piece proposes a process of timbral transformation from a saturated and unstable sound mass. The objects and live electronics are understood as tools for the expansion of the timbral qualities of the sound sources (instrument and body's dancer). Gradually, there is a stripping process that leads to the sonic and mobile essence of dancer and piano, until they reach their most intimate interaction.
Aileen Kent, dancer.
Diego Román, piano
Michele Abondano, live electronics
