Middle Bridal Veil Falls was once the site of a massive logging operation. Wooden log flumes stretched from high on the mountain at Palmer mill down the Columbia covering most the waterfalls along Bridal Veil Creek. I recently discovered Middle Bridal Veil Falls with Brett Barton last year and ran it a month later. After a couple more attempts on the falls over the next year I had to take what I could get so Scott Baker and I gave it a try at low flows. Our biggest concern at this flow was the rocky approach to the lip. Here's a clip from scouting the lip of the falls (If your curious why it's called Cable Choke check out the cables in this shot hanging down into the falls) and my line facing the falls. Thanks to everyone that was there to make it happen.
