He is also the best-selling author of four watershed books on gay issues, all of which are used as college texts. In 2014 Mr. McNaught was given an honor by the US Department of Labor when his book “Gay Issues in the Workplace” was added to the department’s list of “Books that Shaped Work in America,” a project the DOL launched last year to commemorate its centennial.
