Tilly Johnson was the Director of the Branch at the time and Henry Irwin was under Tilly. We started talking to Tilly and I told Tilly, By god I heard a lot about this Malcolm Norris but I never did meet him. Tilly says, do you want an introduction? And I said, sure. So we went up there and it was hard getting through the crowd, it was packed in there like bees. We finally got to where he was and Tilly sort of introduced himself first. He said, I am the Director of the Metis Betterment Branch and these are some of the settlers, Richard Poitras and Maurice L’Hirondelle from East Prairie and Mr. Poitras, my dad.
