„Discover Szymanowski“ is an application for iphone and ipad. It comprises of a set of video clips and podcasts as well as blog articles. The material features the fall 2012 concert tour of the London Symphony Orchestra performing the full symphonic cycle of the Polish composer Karol Szymanowski (1882 – 1937).
It fulfills the function of digital and interactive programme notes that can be used as complimentary ressource in addition to the print material provided by the Philharmonie Luxembourg. However, the application also works independently from the print material.
