Graduating from the International Colourist Academy, Tancredi has always had a very inquisitive mind and a fascination with the transformation of raw material into something emotional and engaging. His passion for films and technology did the rest and today he is a specialist off/onliner and colourist for broadcast.
Photography has played a pivotal role in helping him better understand the use of light and because his role as a colourist is closely related to that of the cinematographer it is important for him to understand how their tools react on screen. Whether it is at the offline, online or grading stage he is careful when applying his touch so not to disrupt the originally intent of the Director and Cinematographer.
Tancredi is particularly proud of his work on the feature film, 45th Parallel, with the cinematography of Dante Cecchin, a well esteemed cinematographer in Italy.
In addition to his Italian mother tongue, he is also fluent in French and English, providing him with a broad cultural knowledge and skillset.
