MRS WILLIAM HORSLEY is a mobile proscenium stage sculpted out of a single chunk of hematite discovered in the Pacific Northwest in the 1950s. It contains a puppet theater with mechanical orchestra, and a small bar offering refreshments. Mrs William Horsley is a research vehicle for investigations into abstract and literal puppetry and storytelling, mechanical phenomena, magnetry and physics.
Mrs William Horsley is owned and operated by the cartoonist and performance artist Matthew Thurber.
