MAZDA CX5 CHEETAH 2011 / Directed and Shot by Mark Toia

One of those crazy projects where we had to create a 3d cheetah, shoot and composite in less than 4 weeks.

We ended up having to do post production in New york with MPC due to them having a 3D cheetah model already made from a movie, then bent us over and over charged for it because the new we were cornered. Not a grey business move on their side as it stopped me from every calling them again. Since the car was so new, we ended up having no car to shoot, we ended up making 3d cars as well.

The experience was a nightmare to be honest. Communication problems and a lot of unfinished promises We got it all done and on time, but not from lack of yelling down the phone to NY! ... Happy to say the client was over the moon. They had no idea about the effort required. Not that they needed to know as it would have just worried them.
