Inventor Brian Green demonstrates how to turn on Cardiff Skates.
Because Cardiff skates use a different and more stable wheel configuration than traditional inline skates, turning isn't performed by leaning on the wheel's edges. Instead, simply lift one of your skate's front wheel off the ground and pivot your foot on the two side wheels!
The motion is best practiced coming out of the the starting wedge when you're still moving slow.
If you lift the front wheel too far off the ground it will engage the brake, so you'll want to just slightly lift the front wheel when turning.
