SIBLING POWER | TIFF Next Wave BotS Short

A pair of super-powered siblings grow up and grow apart as they struggle with the changes that come with puberty.

SIBLING POWER was commissioned for the TIFF Next Wave Battle of the Scores competition, where different bands performed live scores to selected silent scenes of the film. Shot as a narrative in three parts without any dialogue or sound-effects, the film was finished after the event with a brand new soundtrack.

The intention behind SIBLING POWER's genre and tone was to make a Children's film that wasn't afraid of censoring itself for kids who could relate to (and totally handle) an intimately whacked-out, sometimes off-putting take on growing older.
